William Frederick Durst[1] (born Frederick Allen Mayne III; August 20, 1970)[1] is an American singer and movie director known for being the lead singer of the nu metal band, Limp Bizkit.

He is also known for his work in independent movies and made his directorial debut in with the 2007 movie The Education of Charlie Banks. The second movie he directed was the 2008 movie The Longshots. He was ranked at #71 in the Top 100 Heavy Metal Vocalists by Hit Parader.[2]
