The FN FNC ( French: Fabrique Nationale Carabine) is a selective fire assault rifle, used as a low cost alternative to the M16 rifle, it was put through NATO trials but was not used since it was very rushed, it did replace the FN 2000 bullpup assault rifle, it was based off the FNC 76, a prototype rifle FN had.
