Eugen Doga (1 March 1937 – 3 June 2025) was a Moldovan composer.[2][3][4][5] He was known as the creator of many ballets such as "Luceafărul", "Venancia", and "Queen Margot". He also created the opera "Dialogues of Love". He also wrote works for children and the music for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1980 Summer Olympic Games in Moscow.[6]

Doga died on 3 June 2025 in Chișinău, Moldova from heart failure caused by cancer at the age of 88.[7]
