Eric Beekes (15 May 1949 – 10 June 2024) was a Dutch actor and singer. He was born in Surabaya on East Java in the Dutch East Indies.

Beekes made his debut in the 1970s onstage in the play Madame Jatzkowa He is most known for playing in the VARA television series Dubbelleven, Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden, Sjans, Oppassen!!! and De Vlaamsche Pot. He also played the movies Bloedverwanten, Flodder in Amerika!, De kassière and Spetters. At the end of his career he played in the musicals Fame and Zangeres zonder naam.[1][2][3]

As a singer he released three albums.[2]

Beekes was diagnosed with oral cavity cancer in May 2024. He choosed for euthenasia and died in a hoepice in Amsterdam on 10 June 2024 at the age of 75.[2][1][3]
