Endicott Peabody (February 15, 1920 – December 1, 1997) was an American politician. He was the 62nd Governor of Massachusetts from January 3, 1963 to January 7, 1965.[1] Peabody was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
Peabody ran for the United States Senate of Massachusetts, but lost to Edward Brooke. He then ran for Vice President of the United States in 1972, but lost to Edmund Muskie. He then moved to New Hampshire where he ran for other political offices there, but always lost.
Peabody died in Hollis, New Hampshire from leukemia, aged 77.[2]
