Effie Robinson (January 7, 1920 – May 23, 2003) was a social worker and the head of public housing.[1] She was the first black person to graduate from the School of Social Welfare at UC Berkeley.

Awards and honors

In 1974, the National Association of Social Workers gave Robinson the Daniel Koshland Jr. Award in Social Welfare.[2]
