Duluth International Airport is an airport owned by the city of Duluth, Minnesota . The airport is used for military and commercial reasons.[ 2] It is the third busiest airport in Minnesota.[ 3]
History
Northwest Airlines began using the airport in 1940. In 1942, the airport stopped doing flights because of World War II .[ 4]
American Airlines began using the airport in 2019 for flights to O'Hare International Airport in Chicago .[ 5] However, American Airlines stopped flights into Duluth International in April 2020, saying the airport had little demand .[ 6]
