Donald Edwin "Don" Young (June 9, 1933 – March 18, 2022) was an American politician. He was a member of the Republican Party. He was the U.S. Representative for Alaska's at-large congressional district from 1973 until 2022.[1]

Young became Dean of the United States House of Representatives on December 5, 2017 after the resignation of John Conyers of Michigan.

Young died while on flight near Seattle–Tacoma International Airport in SeaTac, Washington on March 18, 2022, aged 88, while traveling from Los Angeles to Alaska.[2][3]
