Dijon Kameri (born 20 April 2004) is an Austrian professional footballer. He plays as midfielder for Liefering in the 2nd Austrian League.
Career
Kameri began his youth career at FC Liefering. Then he went on to Red Bull Salzburg academy for the 2018/19 season. After three years at the academy, he was promoted to FC Liefering.
In July 2021 he played his first professional match for Liefering against Kapfenberger SV in the first round of the 2021/22 season. Withe the U19 team of FC Red Bull Salzburg he reached the final of the 2021-22 UEFA Youth League.
With the start of the 2022-23 season he became member of the FC Red Bull Salzburg squad in the Austrian Bundesliga. He made his debut in a away match versus SC Austria Lustenau on 28 August 2022. He came in in minute 67 for Nicolas Capaldo. In minute 82 he scored his first Bundesliga goal.[2] On 6 September 2022 Kameri played his first match in the UEFA Champions League versus AC Milan.[3] After loaned to Grasshopper Club Zürich in 2023, he moved on loan to SCR Altach in 2024.
