Derek Martin (born Derek William Rapp; 11 April 1933 – 10 January 2026) was an English actor. He was known for his roles as Detective Inspector Fred Pyall in Law & Order (1978), Ronald King in King and Castle (1985–1988) and Charlie Slater in the BBC soap opera EastEnders (2000–2016).
Martin died on 10 January 2026 in Hertfordshire, England at the age of 92.[1]
