Dean Benson Phillips[1] (born January 20, 1969)[2] is an American businessman and politician who has served as the U.S. Representative from Minnesota's 3rd congressional district since 2019.[3]

In July 2023, it was reported that Phillips was considering challenging President Joe Biden in the 2024 Democratic presidential primaries.[4][5] He officially announced his candidacy on October 26, 2023.[6] On March 6, 2024, Phillips suspended his campaign following Super Tuesday.[7]
