Sir David Roy Lidington KCB CBE (born 30 June 1956) is a British Conservative Party politician. He was the Minister for the Cabinet Office[1] and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster from 2018 until 2019 and Member of Parliament (MP) for Aylesbury from 1992 to 2019. Lidington was born in Lambeth, London. He was educated at the University of Cambridge.
He also served as the Secretary of State for Justice and Lord High Chancellor from 2017 to 2018, Leader of the House of Commons and Lord President of the Council from 2016 to 2017 and Minister of State for Europe from 2010 to 2016.
