Darrell Trayler Hogan (July 2, 1926 – April 6, 2016) was an American football player. He played from 1949 through 1953 with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League .
Hogan was born in San Antonio, Texas . He first studied at Baylor University before moving to Trinity University . Hogan was raised in Hot Wells, Texas .[ 1] [ 2] He coached high school football and track and field in Texas after his playing days. He was inducted into the Trinity University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2003.[ 3]
Hogan died on April 6, 2016 from heart failure in Bandera, Texas , aged 89.[ 4] [ 5]
