Curtis Douglas (born March 6, 2000) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre. He currently plays for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has also played for the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Career

Before playing in the NHL, Douglas played two seasons with the Barrie Colts and three seasons with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

He was drafted 104th overall by the Dallas Stars in the 2018 NHL entry draft. He never played a gme for the Stars. On April 10, 2021, Douglas signed a contract to join the Belleville Senators of the American Hockey League (AHL).[1] On March 22, 2022, Douglas signed a two-year entry-level contract to join the Toronto Maple Leafs.[2] He was sent down to play for their AHL-affiliate Toronto Marlies.

On November 23, the Maple Leafs traded Douglas to the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for Conor Timmins.[3] They sent him sown to play for their AHL-affiliate Tucson Roadrunners. He played three seasons with the Roadrunners. He stayed with the franchise when they relocated to become the Utah Hockey Club. On July 7, 2024, Douglas signed a two-year contract to stay with Utah.[4] On October 5, 2025, the Utah Hockey Club placed Douglas on waivers to send him down to play for the Roadrunners.[5]

On October 6, Douglas' contract was picked up off waivers by the Tampa Bay Lightning.[6] On October 9, 2025, the Lightning called him up and Douglas made his NHL debut in a 5–4 loss against the Ottawa Senators.[7] On November 12, he recorded his first NHL point, assisting on a Scott Sabourin goal in a 7–3 loss against the New York Rangers.[8] He played in 29 regular season games before being sent down to the Syracuse Crunch and later placed onto waivers.

On March 6, 2026, Douglas' contract was picked off waivers by the Vancouver Canucks.[9] On April 12, Douglas scored his first NHL goal against Lukáš Dostál in a 4–3 overtime loss against the Anaheim Ducks.[10]
