Comodo Mobile Security (CMS) is a free mobile security app made by the Comodo Group. It protects Android phones and tablets from viruses, malware, and other threats.

The app also includes SMS and call blocking, a process manager, app and data backup, and a data traffic monitor. An anti-theft feature helps users locate or lock a lost or stolen device.[1]

It was the first Android security app created by Comodo, a company known for its Internet security products.[2]

Independent tests

In tests by AV-TEST in 2013 and 2015, Comodo Mobile Security scored 5.5/6 for Protection and 6/6 for Usability, showing strong performance among Android antivirus apps.[3]

Reviews

Softonic rated Comodo Mobile Security 9 out of 10 and called it “Excellent.” PC Advisor gave version 1.2 a score of 3.5 out of 5, praising its free anti-theft tools and easy use.[4]
