Clyde Henry Hamilton (February 8, 1934 – September 2, 2020) was an American politician , lawyer and judge . He was the United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit between 1991 until his death. He was also the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina between 1981 and 1991.[ 1]
Hamilton was nominated to the South Caroline District Court by President Ronald Reagan . He was nominated to the Fourth Circuit Court by President George H. W. Bush .
Hamilton was born in Edgefield, South Carolina . He studied at Wofford College and at George Washington University . Hamilton died on September 2, 2020 at the age of 86.[ 2]
