Clement Isaac Quartey (12 April 1938 – 2 November 2024) was a Ghanaian boxer. He won the silver medal in the men's Light Welterweight (63.5 kg) category at the 1960 Summer Olympics. This made him Ghana’s first Olympic medalist.[1][2][3] Quartey was born in Accra, Ghana. He also won a gold medal at the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games.[4]
Quartey died in the United Kingdom on 2 November 2024, at the age of 86.[5]
