Chaudière-Appalaches is region of Quebec, Canada. It is named for the Chaudière River and the Appalachian Mountains.
According to the Canadian 2006 census 393,669 people live in Chaudière-Appalaches. It also has an area of 15,078.67 square kilometres (5,821.91 sq mi). Its main cities are Lévis, Saint-Georges, Thetford Mines, Sainte-Marie and Montmagny.
