Cat Bordhi (1951 – 2020) was a teacher, author, and knitting expert.[1] She changed how people knit socks and scarves.[2] She was very influential in the knitting community. She self-published books that opened up a very closed and tightly controlled knitting publishing industry.[3]
She also wrote a novel called Treasure Forest. It was a Nautilus Book Award winner in 2004.[4]
She was born 2 March 1951 in San Francisco, California. She died 19 September 2020 at home in Friday Harbor, Washington. She was 69 years old.[1]
