Carol Elizabeth Heiss Jenkins (born January 20, 1940) is an Americanfigure skater and former actress. She received gold and silver medals in the 1956 and 1960 Winter Olympics.[1][2] She retired from figure skating after the 1960 Olympics, She starred in the 1961 movieSnow White and the Three Stooges. She was the first female skater to perform a double Axel jump.[3] Heiss was born in New York City.
