Busby Berkeley (29 November 1895 – 14 March 1976[1]) was a Hollywood movie director and movie musical choreographer. He was famous for musical production numbers involving complex geometric patterns and armies of chorus girls and boys. His famous movies include several Mickey Rooney / Judy Garland "Let's put on a Show" musicals and the Great Depression musicals 42nd Street, Footlight Parade, Gold Diggers of 1933, and Fashions of 1934.
