Robert Thomas Velline (April 30, 1943 – October 24, 2016), known as Bobby Vee, was an American pop singer who was a teen idol in the early 1960s. He was born in Fargo, North Dakota. He was a hit during the 1950s and 1960s. He sang many songs including "Take Good Care of My Baby" and "Devil or Angel".[1]
Bobby Vee said in 2012 that he has Alzheimer's disease, an illness in the brain that affects older people.[1] On October 24, 2016, Vee died from complications of early onset Alzheimer's disease in Rogers, Minnesota at age 73.[2][3]
