Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. It was created by Keith Giffen, John Rogers, and Cully Hamner.^[1] The character made his first appearance in Infinite Crisis #3 (February 2006).

Xolo Maridueña plays Reyes in the DC Extended Universe movie Blue Beetle (2023). Maridueña will officially reprise the role as Jaime Reyes in an upcoming animated television series set in the DC Universe (DCU) franchise.
