Binyamin "Fuad" Ben-Eliezer (Arabic: بنيامين بن إليعازر, Hebrew: בנימין (פואד) בן אליעזר; 12 February 1936 – 28 August 2016) was an Iraqi-born Israeli Labor–Alignment politician and general. He was a member of the Knesset between 1984 and 2014.[1] From 1999 until 2001, Ben-Eliezer was Deputy Prime Minister. From 2002 until 2003, he was the Opposition Leader.
