Bahrain–Israel normalization agreement
The Bahrain–Israel normalization agreement, officially known as Abraham Accords: Declaration of Peace, Cooperation, and Constructive Diplomatic and Friendly Relations, is an agreement to normalize diplomatic and other relations between Bahrain and Israel.
This pact was put into effect by Donald Trump's office and followed on from a joint statement, officially referred to as the Abraham Accords, by the United States, Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco on August 13, 2020.
On September 15, 2020, it got signed at the White House in Washington, D.C., in effect making Bahrain as the fourth Arab state to recognize Israel and the second within a month.
