Bacolod is the capital and largest city in the province of Negros Occidental despite being politically independent from it. Also, it is a 1st class highly-urbanized city in Western Visayas Region, Philippines.

With a total of 600,783 inhabitants as of the 2020 Philippines census, it is the most populous city in Western Visayas and the second most populous city in the entire Visayas after Cebu City.[1]

Masskara

Bacolod City is well known all for its Masskara Festival during the month of October. The Masskara Festival is hosted by Bacolod City during the first two weeks of October. A horde of visitors, both local and foreign, enjoys twenty days of beer drinking, dining, and street dancing at the Masskara Festival. Talk about serious Filipino partying.[2]

SM City Bacolod

SM City Bacolod is a major location in Bacolod City, It opened on March 2, 2007.[3] SM City Bacolod is known for having a variety of stores, restaurants, and dining.[4]
