The arrondissement of Condom is an arrondissement of France. It is part of the Gers département in the Occitanie region. Its capital is the city of Condom.

History

When the arrondissements were created on 17 February 1800, Condom was one of them in the Gers department.[2]

Geography

It is the northernmost and the largest of the arrondissements of the department, with an area of 2,436.8 km2 (941 sq mi).[3] It has a population of 65,562 and a population density of 26.9 inhabitants/km².[4]

The arrondissement is bordered to the north by the Lot-et-Garonne (Nouvelle-Aquitaine) department, to the west by the Tarn-et-Garonne (Occitanie) department, to the southwest by the Haute-Garonne (Occitanie) department, to the south by the arrondissement of Auch, and to the west by the Landes (Nouvelle-Aquitaine) department.
