Anouk Aimée (French pronunciation: [anuk ɛme]; 27 April 1932 – 18 June 2024) was a French movie actress. She has appeared in 70 movie, starting in 1947. She was known for her movie role as Maddalena in La Dolce Vita (1960). She won a Golden Globe Award and a BAFTA Award. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the 1966 movie A Man and a Woman.
She converted to Judaism when she was an adult.[1]
Aimée died at her home in Paris on 18 June 2024, at the age of 92.[2]
