Alexander Kadakin

Alexander Mikhailovich Kadakin (Russian: Александр Михайлович Кадакин; 22 July 1949 – 26 January 2017) was a Russian diplomat. He served as the Russian Ambassador to India twice: from 1999 and 2004, and again from 2009 until his death in 2017. He was also the Russian Ambassador to Nepal (1993–1997) and Sweden (2005–2009). He was born in Chișinău, USSR (now Moldova) to Russian parents.

Kadakin died from heart failure on 26 January 2017 in New Delhi. He was 67.[1]
