Albert van Midden (22 January 1948 – 31 July 2019) was a Dutch road racing cyclist and track cyclist. Initial being active as an amateur cyclist, he was professional from 1968 until 1975.[1] He won the amateur race of the 1968 Six Days of Rotterdam.[2] In January 1969 he won, together with Rini Wachtmans, Harrie Steevens and René Pijnen, the Nations Prize in Antwerp.[3]

On the road he competed in among others the 1970 Vuelta a España and 1971 Tour of Flanders.[4]

In June 1973, he was at the last moment removed from the 1973 Tour de France team, due to “underachievement”.[5]
