Albert Vanhoye, SJ (24 July 1923 – 29 July 2021) was a French priest of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) and an exegete. He was created cardinal in 2006.[1]
Vanhoye was the oldest living member of the College of Cardinals at the time of his death.
Vanhoye died on 29 July 2021 in Rome, five days after his 98th birthday.[2]
