Alam Shah was the fourth and last ruler of the Sayyid dynasty. He succeeded his father, Muhammad Shah to the throne. According to sources, at this time , the empire extended from Delhi to nearby suburb (locality) Palam..Alam Shah was an incapable ruler. He left the kingdom in 1448. He moved to Budaun. Three years later, Bahlul Lodi took control of the capital.
