Air is the first solo EP by Yeji, a South Korean singer from the girl group Itzy. It was released by JYP Entertainment in 2025, and includes four songs: "Air", "Invasion", "Can't Slow Me, No" and "258".

Background and release

In early 2025, it was announced that Yeji would start her solo career.[1] JYP Entertainment shared a trailer, a list of songs, photos, and short videos to promote the EP.[2][3] They also shared short previews of the songs and clips of the music video for "Air".[4][5] The EP and the music video for "Air" were released in March.[6]

Music and lyrics

Yeji co-wrote the lyrics for "Air". The song expresses how she feels while performing on stage. It is a synth-pop track with a strong bassline and catchy chorus.[7] "Invasion" is a breezy, dance-pop song. "Can't Slow Me, No" features fast beats and Latin-style rhythms. "258" has soft vocals with an uplifting electronic dance beat.[8]
