Kućna crkva

Kućna crkva je termin koji se koristi za grupu hrišćana okupljenih regularno ili spontano u kući ili prostoru koji se obično ne koristi za obredne svrhe, umesto građevine sagrađene posebno za tu svrhu. Hrišćani se okupljaju po kućama jer preferiraju da se sastaju neformalno, jer veruju da je to efektivan način stvaranja zajednice i proboja u javnost ili jer veruju da male crkve porodične veličine verno oslikavaju apostolski obrazac iz prvih vekova hrišćanstva.

Pokret kućnih crkava postoji u savremenom svetu i u njega ulaze hriscani koji su iskreno prigrlili veru u Hrista i Rec Bozju, Bibliju. Mnoge od njh su povezane medjusobno, zbog medjusobnog zblizavanja na temelju vere. Oni hriscani koji insistiraju na okupljanje po privatnim kucama uzimaju kao svoj argument da je tako bilo i u vreme apostola, odnosno jos u prvom veku, dok je Biblija pisana.

Zabeleženo je da su hrišćani u Aleksandriji u 1. veku imali kućne crkve:

„U svakom domu postoji svešteno mesto koje nazivaju svetilištem ili manastir. Tamo, izdvojivši se, oni vrše tajne koje označavaju pobožan život; tamo ne unose piće, ni hranu, niti bilo šta drugo što je potrebno za telesno, nego pisma zakona i proroka, himne i ostale knjige, zahvaljujući kojim se vera umnožava i usavršava..." [1]
