Hlorofil sintaza (EC 2.5.1.62) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom hlorofillid-a:fitil-difosfat fitiltransferaza.[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju

hlorofillid a + fitil difosfat hlorofil a + difosfat

Za dejstvo ovog enzima je neophodan Mg2+.
