Španska era ili Hispanska era je sistem datiranja korišćen u Hispaniji (Iberijsko poluostrvo) do kasnog srednjeg veka, kada je usvojen današnji sistem Anno Domini ("[u] godini Gospoda"). Njena prva godina bila je 38. pne. (716. AUC), što je verovatno bio datum novog poreza kojeg je Rimska republika uvela potčinjenom stanovništvu Iberije; Oktavijan August je tada proglasio zvaničnu pacifikaciju Hispanije, mada je poluostrvo zaokruženo pod rimskom vlašću tek osvajanjem Kantabrijskih planina 26-19. pne.[1] Datum označava početak Pax Romana-e u Hispaniji.

Za prebacivanje godine Nove ere u odgovarajuću godinu Hispanske ere treba dodati 38 godina, odn. godinu pre nove ere oduzeti od 39.

Upotreba španske ere je verovatno počela u 3. veku, korišćena je i na jugu Francuske. Iz upotrebe je nestala u različitim periodima:
