Тихоокеанско-азиатский чемпионат по кёрлингу 1998 состоялся в городе Куаликам-Бич (Канада) с 13 по 18 декабря 1998 года как для мужских, так и для женских команд. В мужском и женском турнирах приняло участие 4 мужских и 4 женских команды.

В мужском турнире чемпионом стала (в 1-й раз в своей истории) сборная Новой Зеландии, победив в финале сборную Японии; третье место заняла сборная Австралии.[1]

В женском турнире чемпионом стала (в 7-й раз в своей истории) сборная Японии, победив в финале сборную Новой Зеландии. Третье место заняла сборная Австралии.[2]

Чемпионат также являлся квалификацией на мужской и женский чемпионаты мира 1999.
