Т-64БМ2 или «Булат» — украинский основной танк, который является глубокой модернизацией основных и средних танков Т-64.

История

Основным исполнителем работ является Харьковский бронетанковый завод (ХБТЗ), узлы МТО и двигатель поставляет Завод имени Малышева. Главной особенностью Т-64БМ2 есть установка моторно-трансмиссионного отдела с 1000-сильным двигателем 6ТД-1 вместо штатного для Т-64 двигателя 5ТДФМ (850 л. с.).

Ремоторизация заставила установить кольцо на корпус и поднять на несколько сантиметров башню танка, поскольку новое МТО имеет более высокий уровень по крышке. (850 л. с.).

По состоянию на начало февраля 2022 года — на вооружении Вооружённых сил Украины было поставлено 10 танков Т-64БМ2 и ещё два экземпляра для испытании оставил себе Харьковский бронетанковый завод[источник не указан 413 дней].
