Резерват

Термин «резерват» имеет несколько значений:

  • Резерват (лат. reservatum сохранённое, reservare сохранять) — территория, где природные богатства (животные и растения) находятся под особой охраной правительства, на которой особо охраняется один вид или группа видов, или весь природный комплекс. Резерваты различают по виду охраняемой территории: природные, морские, болотные, ботанические, зоологические, охотничьи и другие. По способу организации охраны природы различают биосферный резерват и ресурсный резерват.
    • Биосферный резерват — территория, призванная демонстрировать сбалансированное взаимодействие природы и человека, концепцию устойчивого развития окружающей среды. Статус биосферного резервата присваивается ЮНЕСКО. Состоит из трёх зон: ядро (особо охраняемая природная территория — ООПТ[1]), буферная зона и зона сотрудничества (где демонстрируется сбалансированное взаимодействие человека и природы). В 2016 году в России насчитывался 41 биосферный резерват.
    • Ресурсный резерват — ООПТ, создаваемая для предотвращения неконтролируемого использования и истощения природных ресурсов территории[2]. В зоне традиционного природопользования допускается ведение традиционной хозяйственной деятельности. В зоне лицензионного изъятия биологических ресурсов допускается добыча природных ресурсов на основе лицензии. Создаются на основании решения региональных органов власти.[3]
  • Резерват — особый вид ООПТ, предусмотренный законодательством Казахстана и ряда других[каких?] стран.
  • Резерват — место временного обитания некоторых животных, связанное с циклом развития вида.
  • Резерват — территория для обособленного поселения коренного населения (резервация)[4], например индейские резервации в Америке.
