Раби (чеш. Rabí, нем. Rabi) — небольшой городок на юго-западе Чешской Республики, в районе Клатови Пльзенского края.

Расположен в районе горного хребта Шумава к северо-западу от реки Отава в долине, окруженной известняковыми холмами, примерно в девяти километрах к северо-востоку от Сушице.

Население

Население на 1 января 2022 года составляло — 480 человек. Площадь — 14,32 км².

История

Общий вид Раби

Первое письменное упоминание о поселении датируется 1380 годом. В начале XIV века графами фон Боген (младшая ветвь рода Бабенбергов) построен Замок Раби, полностью перестроенный в конце XV века в стиле поздней готики. В 1421 году в период гуситских войн национальный герой чешского народа Ян Жижка при штурме замка Раби потерял второй глаз, в честь чего замок получил в литературе прозвание «Чешская Мефона». В 1978 году замок внесён в список национальных памятников культуры Чешской Республики. Один из самых посещаемых туристами замков Пльзенского края.

1 апреля 2010 года Раби возвращен статус города.
