Роберт Оуэнс работал с такими известными музыкантами, как Ларри Хёрд, Фрэнки Наклз, Маршалл Джефферсон, Дэвид Моралес, Сатоси Томиэ, London Elektricity и многими другими. Биография

Роберт Оуэнс родился в 1961 г. в Уоррене, (штат Огайо), но рос, путешествуя между Чикаго и Лос-Анджелесом, перебираясь то туда, то обратно от отца к матери. С раннего детства по инициативе матери в Лос-Анджелесе он ходил в церковь, где начал петь. В Чикаго он занялся диджеингом, на почве чего в 1985 году познакомился с Ларри Хёрдом и полностью погрузился в мир хауса. Вскоре они создают Fingers, Inc., пригласив в группу второго вокалиста — Рона Вильсона. Хаус-группа записывает несколько хитовых синглов (Can You Feel It, Bring Down The Walls, All Over и т. д.) и начинает активно гастролировать. В том числе Fingers, Inc. стала практически первой группой, гастролировавшей по Великобритании, продвигая новую танцевальную музыку. В 1988 году группа записала свой первый и единственный полноценный альбом «Another Side», который также стал одним из самых первых хаус-альбомов.
