Биография и карьера

Начиная с 1980-х годов, сыграла множество ролей на телевидении и в кино. Она была актрисой второго плана в первом сезоне «Ночной суд[англ.]» на NBC, где она играла придворного клерка Лану Вагнер в 10-ти эпизодах. Она играла роль жены героя Джона Кэнди в фильме «Лето напрокат[англ.]» (1985).

Остин вышла замуж за Криса Славу в 19 лет; пара развелась семь лет спустя[3][4][5]. В 1989 году родила дочь Оливию.
