Меред (др.-евр. מדד‬^[1]; «возмущение»^[2]; «бунт»^[3]; 1Пар. 4:17) — библейский ветхозаветный персонаж из Иудина колена^[2], муж фараоновой дочери Бифьи (евр. Бития)^[1].

Меред — сын Ездры (отца четырёх сыновей^[4]) и брат Иефера (Иетера), из клана калебитов^[1], то есть Калеба (в Синодальном переводе — Халев).

Меред взял себе в жёны Бифью, дочь фараона. В Мидраше (еврейском толковании Ветхого Завета) она названа приёмной матерью Моисея^[3], а Меред («бунт») считается характеристикой Халева^[3]. Халев был в числе 12 разведчиков, посланных Моисеем из пустыни обозреть Обетованную землю (Ханаанейскую)^[5].
