Кантоны Федерации Боснии и Герцеговины

Федерация Боснии и Герцеговины разделена на 10 канто́нов (босн. kantoni).

Хорватское население федерации также употребляет слово жупании (хорв. županije), однако в тексте конституции Федерации Боснии и Герцеговины на хорватском языке используется только слово «kantoni».[1]

Кантон 10 на местном уровне именуется Герцегбосанским (хорв. Hercegbosanska županija)[2][3], однако Конституционный суд Федерации Боснии и Герцеговины признал данное название противоречащим конституции, поскольку оно содержит отсылки к существовавшей во время Боснийской войны Хорватской республике Герцег-Босне.[4]
