Афгойе (сомал. Afgooye, араб. أفجويي‎) — город на юге центральной части Сомали, находится в провинции Нижняя Шабелле.

География

Расположен в 25 км к западу от столицы страны, города Могадишо[1], на берегах реки Уэби-Шабелле.

Население

Население города по данным на 2012 год составляет 17 406 человек[2]; оно представлено главным образом несколькими кланами сомалийцев, а также некоторыми национальными меньшинствами. После начала гражданской войны в 1991 году в городе размещается некоторые количество беженцев из южных районов Сомали.
