Джакомо Агостини (итал. Giacomo Agostini, род. 16 июня 1942, Брешиа, Ломбардия, Италия) — итальянский мотогонщик.

Агостини — многократный победитель чемпионата мира по шоссейно-кольцевым мотогонкам MotoGP. Прозвище — «Божественный Аго» («Аго» — «иголка» по-итальянски). На данный момент Агостини обладает рекордом по количеству побед в Гран-при — 122 победы[2]. Выиграл 15 титулов чемпиона мира, что является абсолютным рекордом[3].

Биография

Выступления в автогонках

Следуя по стопам Джона Сёртиса и Майка Хейлвуда, Агостини также принимал участие в автогонках на машинах класса Формула-1. Он участвовал в британском чемпионате Ф-1 1979[англ.] и 1980[англ.] годов с собственной командой на Williams FW06. Но перед этим он провёл полный сезон в чемпионате Европы Формулы-2 1978 года[англ.] на Chevron B42-BMW[4].

В 1979 году на трассе Брэндс-Хэтч Агостини вместе с другими пилотами британского чемпионата Ф1 принял участие на своём Williams FW06-Ford в Гонке чемпионов[англ.] — внезачётном заезде Формулы-1. Он финишировал одиннадцатым, в двух кругах от победителя гонки Жиля Вильнёва[5].
