Haidomyrmodes mammuthus (лат.) — ископаемый вид муравьёв, единственный в составе монотипического рода Haidomyrmodes, включённый в ископаемое подсемейство Haidomyrmecinae. Обнаружен в шарантийском янтаре (Франция) возрастом около 100 млн лет[1].

Описание

Мелкие муравьи, длина тела около 4 мм. Голова с крупными глазами. Мандибулы длинные изогнутые. Усики 12-члениковые. Клипеус вогнутый. Формула голенных шпор: 1-2-2 (вторая шпора средних и задних ног гребенчатые). Описание сделано по трём ископаемым экземплярам из французского янтаря, хранящимся в Национальном музее естественной истории (Париж, Франция). Хорошо сохранившаяся крылатая самка обозначена в качестве голотипа («MNHN ARC 50.2»), а два рабочих муравья обозначены как паратипы нового вида («MNHN ARC 242» и «MNHN AIX 1.2»)[1][2].

Этимология

Название Haidomyrmodes происходит от имени типового рода трибы «Haidomyrmex», и от суффикса «-odes» (имеющий сходную форму). Видовое название H. mammuthus происходит о слова mammuthus (мамонт) из-за сходства верхних челюстей с бивнями мамонта. Вид был впервые описан в 2008 году мирмекологом Винсентом Перришо (Vincent Perrichot; Museum für Naturkunde der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Берлин; Германия) и его коллегами из Франции (André Nel & Didier Néraudeau & Thierry Guyot) и Бразилии (Sébastien Lacau)[1].

Систематика

Вид Haidomyrmodes mammuthus выделен в отдельный монотипический род Haidomyrmodes и подсемейство Haidomyrmecinae[1][3]. Haidomyrmodes это один из нескольких описанных из янтаря меловых муравьёв, таких как Burmomyrma, Camelomecia, Ceratomyrmex, Gerontoformica, Haidomyrmex, Myanmyrma и Zigrasimecia[1][2][4][5][6].

В 2016 году при описании нового ископаемого вида Camelomecia janovitzi авторы его описания (Barden & Grimaldi, 2016) предложили новую схему филогенетических взаимоотношений корневых видов и родов муравьёв[2]:
