  • Мятеж военачальника Галиба, тестя Мухаммада ибн Аби и его поражение у Сан-Висенте. По приказу Мухаммада ибн Аби с мятежника содрали кожу, набили её хлопком и чучело распяли на кордовских воротах.
  • Июль — Мухаммад ибн Аби разоряет район Саморы. Четыре тысячи горожан угнаны в рабство, Рамиро III потерпел поражение, и вынужден платить дань халифу Кордовы.
  • Рамиро III объявлен низложенным, а феодалы Галисии объявляют королём незаконнорождённого сына Ордоньо III Бермудо.
