Флаг муниципального образования «Кингисе́ппское городское поселение» Кингисеппского муниципального района Ленинградской области Российской Федерации — опознавательно-правовой знак, служащий официальным символом муниципального образования.

Флаг утверждён 19 декабря 2006 года и внесён в Государственный геральдический регистр Российской Федерации с присвоением регистрационного номера 2889.

Описание флага

«Флаг муниципального образования „Кингисеппское городское поселение“ представляет собой прямоугольное зелёное полотнище с отношением ширины к длине 2:3, воспроизводящее фигуры герба: жёлтое солнце в верхнем углу у древка и чёрный орёл на жёлтой скале, примыкающей к нижнему углу у свободного края».

Обоснование символики

Флаг Кингисеппского городского поселения создан с учётом герба, который разработан на основе исторического герба уездного города Ямбурга Санкт-Петербургской губернии, Высочайше утверждённого 7 (18) мая 1780 года. Подлинное описание исторического герба гласит:

В зелёном поле, сидящий на камне, чёрный орёл, взирая на сияющее солнце.

Использование герба города Ямбурга (название Кингисеппа до 1922 года) подчёркивает историческую и культурную преемственность многих поколений людей проживающих на этой земле.

Орёл — традиционный символ бесстрашия, мудрости, победы, величия.

Солнце — символ жизненной энергии, красоты, бессмертия, гармонии.

Жёлтый цвет (золото) — символ стабильности, уважения, интеллекта.

Зелёный цвет — символ роста, здоровья, возрождения.

Чёрный цвет — символ скромности, мудрости, вечности бытия.
