Самана — полуостров северо-восточного побережья острова Гаити. Принадлежит Доминиканской Республике.

География

Территория полуострова принадлежит провинции Самана Доминиканской Республики.

Рельеф полуострова горный. Вдоль полуострова возвышается горная гряда, создающая мягкий микроклимат. Растительность богатая, на побережье расположены песчаные пляжи. Возле полуострова находится место размножения горбатых китов, которые каждый год с января по апрель приплывают в его акваторию[1].

Основные автомобильные дороги полуострова — DR-5 и DR-133.

На полуострове находятся три аэропорта, в том числе международный аэропорт «Samana El-Catey».
